Playoffs Stretch Into Darkness at the E-Z-GO/Traynor’s Golf Collection Pro-Pro Championship
As the sun dipped below the horizon at Sea Island, the drama was just beginning. The 2025 E-Z-GO/Traynor’s Golf Collection Pro-Pro Championship — contested December 8–9 on both the Plantation and Seaside Courses with a field of 256 players — delivered not one, but two playoffs that pushed the limits of daylight, ultimately crowning champions under the Sea Island sunset.
The week also featured a meaningful off-course highlight. During the opening round, the Georgia PGA hosted a toy drive in association with the Davis Love Foundation. Thanks to the generosity of the participating professionals, over 600 toys were donated, helping provide Christmas gifts for families and bringing holiday cheer to children throughout the Glynn County community.
In the regular division, three teams emerged as Co-Champions after an intense 3-hole playoff that concluded in near-darkness. Jeff Cammon, PGA Assistant Professional at Sea Island Golf Club & Brandon Youmans, PGA Head Professional at King and Prince Golf Club, Nix Duncan & Anthony Cordes, PGA Assistant Professionals of Cherokee Town and Country Club, and Ian Trace, PGA Assistant Golf Professional at Peachtree Golf Club & Landon Coontz, Assistant Golf Professional at West Lake Country Club, all finished at 14-under-par, to share the title after the playoff extended beyond available light.
