PGA REACH Georgia Welcomes Grant Cagle as Newest Trustee

PGA REACH Georgia, the 501(c)(3) charitable foundation of the Georgia Section of the PGA of America, is proud to announce the appointment of Grant Cagle as its newest Trustee, further strengthening the foundation’s leadership and commitment to positively impacting lives through the game of golf.

Cagle is President of Cagle Land, Timber and Real Estate Management Co., a Partner of the New York Yankees, and an Officer of SCH Capital. With more than 15 years of management experience, Cagle brings a strong background in business leadership, strategic development, and philanthropy to the PGA REACH Georgia Trustee group.

In addition to his professional experience, Cagle is deeply involved in nonprofit and community leadership. He has served as a Board Member of the Chris Hammond Youth Foundation since 2014, a Board of Trustees Member at LaGrange Academy since 2019, and a Trustee of The East Lake Foundation, where he currently serves on the Executive Committee and as Chairman of the Development Committee. His leadership has also extended to key initiatives such as Co-Chair of the New York Yankees Homecoming Dinner and Building Committee Chairman for LaGrange Academy’s Capital Campaign.

“Trustees play an essential role in guiding PGA REACH Georgia’s mission and expanding our impact across the state,” said Scott Geary, CEO of the Georgia PGA and Executive Director of PGA REACH Georgia. “Grant’s proven leadership, deep commitment to service, and passion for golf make him an outstanding addition to our Trustee program. We are grateful for his willingness to serve and look forward to the perspective and energy he brings to our foundation.”

A lifelong supporter of the game, Cagle is a Founding Member of Sage Valley Golf Club and holds memberships at East Lake Golf Club, Palmetto Golf Club, and Highland Country Club. He actively serves the golf community through roles such as Tournament Ambassador and Host Committee member for the TOUR Championship, as well as a Host Committee member for Party on the Green.

The game of golf has had such a tremendous impact on my life,” said Cagle. “I am very proud to be able to help give back to our wonderful game.”

Beyond golf, Cagle supports a number of charitable organizations, including the New York Yankees Foundation, East Lake Foundation, Lindsey Vonn Foundation, Chris Hammond Youth Foundation, Puppies and Golf, and Stand Up 2 Cancer.

“Golf has a unique ability to create opportunity, build character, and bring communities together,” said Cagle. “PGA REACH Georgia is doing meaningful work throughout the state, and I’m honored to join the Trustee Council and support the foundation’s efforts to make a lasting impact through the game.”
