After numerous hours of rain delays over the last two and a half days, the second round of the 70th Georgia Open presented by L & J Golf, Layr, and E-Z-GO has concluded at The Ford Field and River Club in Richmond Hill. Round three will begin at 4:00 PM on Saturday with 62 players making the cut.
Tied at the top are two-time Georgia Open Champion Jay McLuen of Forsyth and Emanuel Kountakis of Augusta. Both players are sitting at 8-under par 136 with a one-shot lead over Matt Nagy of Buena Vista. PGA Professional Pete Vitiello of Savannah sits in fourth place at 4-under par 140. A quartet of players are tied for fifth at 3-under 141 including defending champion Jonathan Keppler of Marietta.
