Head PGA of America Professional, Ryan Joyce, and Assistant Professional, Joe Parker from Hawks Ridge Golf Club in Ball Ground took top honors in the Club Car Pro-Assistant Championship presented by Adidas, Bushnell Golf, Evolve Golf, SolRX, Srixon, and Theragun. The event was played at TPC Sugarloaf in Duluth where just a couple weeks before played host to the PGA Tour’s Champions Tour event, the Mitsubishi Electric Classic.

The team had a combined 11-under par round in the 27-hole four-ball stroke play format. That score was good enough to win by one over Head PGA Professional Chris Cartwright and his Assistant Chad Thomas of West Pines Golf Club in Douglasville and Head PGA Professional Jim Arendt and his Assistant Adam Cooper of Bull Creek Golf Course in Columbus. This tournament and format allows for the head golf professional to have multiple teams of assistants.

The Georgia PGA would like to thank Aaron Guy, PGA from Adidas and Evolve Golf for supplying the players with tee gifts prior to the round, Heidi Cohen-Brugliera with Bushnell and Theragun on supplying the close-up gifts as well as gifts for the Champions, and Srixon for supplying a pair of Nike Shoes for a close-up.
