The 2025 Georgia PGA tournament season kicked off on Monday, March 17th at Berkeley Hills Country Club in Duluth with the Club Car Pro-Pro Scramble presented by Branded Bills, Bridgestone Golf, Fire Maker Brewery, and GT Golf Supplies after it was rescheduled from the prior weeks rainout.

The field of 58, two-person teams, battled windy conditions in the scramble format, but at the end of the day 14-under par from newly appointed Head Professional at Capital City Club-Brookhaven, Francisco Bide, PGA and his Assistant PGA Associate, Hunter Clay took home the hardware. The Capital City Club team made it look easy with three eagle hole-outs from Clay with borrowed wedges from the host Director of Golf, Keith Roberts, PGA. The team was awarded $2,400 for their efforts.

Three strokes behind them was team Country Club of the South with Director of Golf Nick Bailes, PGA and Director of Instruction, David Potts, PGA. Two teams tied for third place at 9-under par with Justin Mattheis, Assistant PGA Associate of Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee and partner Ben Dulin, Assistant PGA Associate of Polo Golf & Country Club, and the team of Landon Coontz, Assistant PGA Associate at West Lake Country Club and his partner Jon Parker, Assistant PGA Associate at Hawks Ridge Golf Club.
