Activities and Programs

PGA HOPE

PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is the flagship military program of PGA REACH, the charitable foundation of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE introduces golf to Veterans with disabilities to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being.

The program introduces the game of golf through a developmental 6-8 week curriculum, taught by PGA Professionals trained in adaptive golf and military cultural competency. All programs are funded by PGA REACH and supplemented by PGA Section Foundations, so the cost of programming is free to all Veterans.

Friends Fore Max Janton Golf Classic

Please join us to celebrate the life of Maximus Janton and honor his memory at the 2nd Annual Friends FORE Max Janton Golf Classic on October 8, 2019 at The Legends at Chateau Elan in Braselton, GA. This special event is presented by Max’s parents, Dan and Keri Janton, the Georgia PGA Foundation and many family and friends.

Max was a radiant, perpetually happy boy who was special in many ways beyond his rare Costello syndrome diagnosis. He spent his short 6 years sharing his gifts of pure love and enthusiasm, magically transforming moments from simple to spectacular. Max unexpectedly passed after cardiac surgery on October 27, 2017. Along with unyielding heartache, this great loss spurred a fervent mission to ensure Max’s name is never forgotten and that his legacy of love will endure indefinitely.

The Friends FORE Max Janton Golf Classic will benefit three organizations which greatly benefited Max and his family: Northside Hospital-Forsyth NICU, FOCUS + Fragile Kids and The Music Class, along with the Georgia PGA Foundation.
