About the Georgia PGA

The Georgia PGA is one of the 41 Sections of The PGA of America. Its membership includes over 950 PGA Professionals working at over 260 golf courses, clubs, and ranges throughout the state. Additionally, more than 20 Georgia PGA members compete on one of the PGA Tours. In keeping with the fundamental objectives laid down by its founders, one of the Georgia PGA’s primary goals is promoting the game of golf through clinics, junior and minority golf programs, consumer programs, and print and television media.

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Brian Stubbs. A respected leader, Past President of the Georgia PGA, and a devoted servant to the game.

Brian led Country Club of Columbus as Head PGA Professional and spent the last decade as Executive Director of The Haskins Foundation. A mentor... and friend to many, his impact on our Section and its professionals was immeasurable.

A highly decorated PGA Professional, Brian’s legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched.

Please keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts during this difficult time.
