The Georgia PGA is excited to announce a partnership with Mizuno USA. The agreement, signed by Mizuno USA Senior Director of Golf, Jeremy Galbrath, will bring a longtime partner of the Pro-Pro Championship back to the Georgia Section.

Along with being a tournament partner with the Pro-Pro Championship, the three-year partnership will also highlight Mizuno USA, as it joins Audi Atlanta, as a presenting partner of the Yamaha Atlanta Open, Georgia’s oldest professional tournament, as well as the now 54-hole Georgia Women’s Open. The Yamaha Atlanta Open Presented by Audi Atlanta / Mizuno USA will take place May 16-17 at Echelon Golf Club in Alpharetta, and the Georgia Women’s Open Presented by Mizuno USA will take place at the University of Georgia Golf Course July 22-24. The Georgia PGA Pro-Pro Championship will be contested December 5-6 at Sea Island Golf Club.

In addition, the Georgia PGA will list Mizuno USA as a product partner of the Georgia PGA Junior Tour. This will allow all members, junior tour families, and partners to connect with Mizuno USA staff. The Georgia PGA Junior Tour has seen participation numbers surge over the last several years. The Junior Tour will operate 17 tournaments in 2022 and expects to see yet another year of steady growth.

“We are thrilled to have Mizuno USA back as a supporter of the Georgia PGA. As a local company, their support of our PGA Professionals, amateurs, and juniors will truly shine through with this partnership. We look forward to many years of collaboration with one another.” said Georgia PGA Executive Director Scott Geary.

Mizuno USA Senior Director of Golf, Jeremy Galbreth, commented, “Supporting the PGA of America is very important to Mizuno USA, especially being able to support our home section here in Georgia. This long-term commitment will allow us to support the golf professionals and players at every level. Lauren Smith, our Player Development Rep, is extremely excited for the opportunity to work with members of the Georgia PGA Junior Tour more closely. With the Georgia Section in our backyard and a shared vision, the future of this partnership looks very bright.”
