Head Professional, Chris Cartwright, PGA and Assistant Professional, Matt Sanders, PGA from West Pines Golf Club in Douglasville took top honors in the Club Car Pro-Assistant Championship presented by Adidas, Bushnell Golf, Evolve Golf, Range Servant, and Theragun. The event was played at TPC Sugarloaf in Duluth where just a couple weeks before played host to the PGA Tour’s Champions Tour event, the Mitsubishi Electric Classic.

The team combined for 13 birdies and 1 bogey to shoot a combined score of 12-under par to win by one shot over the 2019 champions Peter Jones, PGA and Nix Duncan from Cherokee Town & Country Club, over 26 holes, one hole was not played due to course construction. Jones was also defending champion who won last year’s event with another Assistant PGA Professional, Anthony Cordes, PGA. This tournament and format allows for the head golf professional to have multiple teams of assistants in the two-person better-ball format.

The Georgia PGA would like to thank Aaron Guy from Adidas for supplying the players with tee gifts prior to the round.
