DESCRIPTION:Register \nELIGIBILITY:\n\nIF YOU DO NOT MEET THE ELIGIBILITY BELOW YOU MUST ENTER THE PRE-QUALIFIER HELD ON THURSDAY\, APRIL 5\, 2018. \nEvent Qualifier Eligibility: The Event Qualifier will be limited to professional players aged 50+ in the following categories: \n\n\nTournament Winners of PGA TOUR\, PGA TOUR Champions or Web.com – official victories and players eligible under the PGA TOUR Team Tournament Winner Category.\nWeb.com Tour Veteran Members are defined as players who have made 150 combined cuts in PGA TOUR and Web.com Tour official money events\, and who have participated in the previous year’s PGA TOUR and/or PGA Champions National Qualifying Tournament.\nThose players finishing 75th or better on the 2017 PGA Champions Official Money List.\nPlayer who have earned $1\,000\,000 or more on the PGA TOUR Champions.\nPlayers who have Pre-Qualified and Event Qualified for an event in the same week will be exempt into the Event Qualifier for the remainder of the year.\nWinners on the European Tour or European Sr.Tour will be exempt from Pre-Qualifier\nFinished within top 30 & ties from 2017 Champions Tour National Qualifying Tournament\n\nDISTANCE MEASURING DEVICES\n\n“2018 PGA TOUR Champions Local Rules and Conditions of the Competition: Distance Measuring Devices – Appx. I\, Part A\, Section 7. For play in a Pro-Am round (except a Pro-Am played during an official competition round)\, an Event Qualifying round or a Regional Qualifying Tournament round\, a player may obtain distance information by use of a distance-measuring device. If\, during the stipulated round\, a player uses a distance-measuring device to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g. elevation changes\, wind speed\, etc.)\,the player is in breach of Rule 14-3.”\n\n\nPRACTICE ROUNDS\n\nBerkeley Hills Country Club\n2300 Pond Rd\nDuluth\, GA 30096\n(770) 448-4661YOU MUST CALL THE GOLF SHOP\, PLAYERS JUST SHOWING-UP WILL NOT BE ABLE TO “JUST GO PLAY”.Practice Rounds are $40 and you MUST call the golf shop first.\nSunday: After 1:30 p.m. \n\n\n# OF SPOTS:\n\nEach Event Qualifier will be conducted at 18 holes of stroke play. A maximum of the low four (4) scorers from the Event Qualifier will gain entry into the Official Tournament in accordance with applicable PGA TOUR Champions policies and procedures. There will be no alternates from the Event Qualifier. A Sudden-Death playoff will commence immediately following play in the event of ties to determine the qualifying positions. The number of Event Qualifier spots available (if less than (4) (four) will be posted prior to the commencement of play of the Event Qualifier. \nNote 1: Top Ten Advance Category: If not otherwise exempt into the field at the commitment deadline\, a maximum of one player finishing in 10th place or tied for 10th place in the immediately preceding event will advance into the next PGA TOUR Champions\, full-field cosponsored event\, reducing Event Qualifying spots by one (1). \nNote 2: Should any combination of players added to the field from Section A.1 (e) (Major Medical)\, section A.1(k)\n(Tournament Winners)\, section A.1 (k) (All-Time Victories)\, and/or section A.1 (m) (World Golf Hall of Fame Members) of the PGA TOUR Champions Tournament Regulations cause the tournament field to exceed 81 players\, an Event Qualifying spot\, then a restricted sponsor exemption\, will be reduced in alternating order. \nNote 3: In the event that tournaments are scheduled in successive weeks\, any player who played in the preceding week’s PGA TOUR Champions event shall be eligible for the Event Qualifier on the Monday or Tuesday immediately following.
