PGA HOPE Coach Trainer, GSGA Adaptive Golf Director)

The purpose of the training workshop is to share knowledge and to learn proper approaches to become comfortable and confident teaching and conducting programs for Military Veterans.  This one-day educational workshop brings PGA members, VA and Community Therapists together, to explore the skills of teaching “adaptive golf” to veterans with physical/cognitive/sensory challenges and how golf is utilized as a vital element in their rehabilitation and recovery. PGA Professionals attending this workshop become eligible to coach PGA HOPE clinics being planned within the Georgia Section.

Lunch - 12 P.M. – 1 P.M. (Lunch Provided by GSGA)
Training on Range - 1 P.M. – 3:30 P.M.

Georgia PGA/GSGA Rules of Golf & Tournament Administration Workshop

Date: Tuesday, March 7, 2017  8 A.M. - 4 P.M.
Location: Atlanta Athletic Club, Johns Creek, GA

$80/person (includes continental breakfast, lunch, Rules of Golf book and other handouts)

MSR: 7 PGA MSR Education credits

Come and enjoy a full day workshop on both the Rules of Golf and Tournament Administration.  The workshop will be taught by some of Georgia’s most experienced tournament administrators and PGA Professionals.  The dress code is business attire. Due to the commitment to the Athletic Atlanta Club for guaranteed space, there will be no refunds granted after the entry deadline on March 1st.
